Doodson Motorsport sponsor the FIM British Speedway Grand Prix

Doodson sponsor Speedway

Saturday 25th June saw Doodson Motorsport sponsor the FIM British Speedway Grand Prix in Cardiff.

Thousands of Speedway fans from across the globe ventured to the Welsh capital for, what is arguably, the World’s biggest speedway event.

Doodson Motorsport employees and Directors attended the event. Katie Metcalf, Operational Claims Manager stated, ‘this was my first time at a Speedway event of this scale and it was a fantastic experience. The branding and exposure gained from the event was great and you couldn’t move anywhere in Cardiff City Centre without bumping into the Doodson Motorsport logo!’

American, Greg Hancock left Cardiff victorious after the 23 round event but British talent was displayed with Chris Harris and ‘Wildcard’ Scott Nicholls riding in front of the home crowd. Another British talent, 21 year old Tai Woffinden was brought on to race in Heat 20 and wowed the Cardiff crowd as he battled to second position in the heat, leading for 2 laps.

The Doodson sponsored event was televised in over 100 countries and was the first motorsport event televised in 3D in the UK.

See our special Doodson Speedway Vs. Superbike video below where Tom Tunstall of the Doodson Motorsport BSB team takes on Chris 'Bomber' Harris.
